Description

Jiffy Crochet Caps:  These two crocheted caps are made of 4 strands of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton worked together. The cap with the pompon is made entirely in one color, the other cap is crocheted in one color and embroidered in a contrasting color.

This is a Mail Order Designs pattern purchased through newspapers.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 1746 in 1938.  The newspaper description:  "Match frocks with inexpensive caps in jiffy crochet. The top one has contrast in single stitch".

Materials:  1 (500 yard) skein of unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton and a No. 0 steel crochet hook.
