Wheel of Fortune Crochet Motif Design 2715

Crocheted Medallion: These two crocheted medallions can either be made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. The medallions can be joined to form bedspreads, cloths, scarfs and pillows.  Crochet the large motif at 3-1/2 or 5-1/2 inches and the small motif at 1-3/8 or 2-1/4 inches. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 2715 in 1939.  

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 8 steel crochet hook, or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 12 steel crochet hook. Each large medallion requires approximately 31 yards of heavy cotton or 20 yards of fine cotton; each small medallion requires approximately 4 yards of heavy cotton or 2-1/2 yards of fine cotton.
