Description

White Blouse: This pattern contains directions to knit the blouse pictured. A great blouse for casual wear with quite straight-forward instructions. The blouse, featuring a ribbed collar, neckband, short sleeves and hem ends has an additional ribbed band at waist level. After completion of knitting, the ribbed are embroidered with a chain stitch to give the fun striped interest. There is a back neck closure with hook and eye. The vintage 1950 pattern is misses size 12, with changes for 14 and 16 in parentheses.

Materials:

  • "Botany" Brand Bylon-6 (6-7) 1-oz. pull skeins in Main Color (MC) ; 1 1-oz. pull skein in Contrasting Color (CC) for all sizes;
  • Knitting Needles No. 3 and No. 4 (Standard) ;
  • 1 hook and eye.

Gauge: 7 sts = 1"; 9 rows = 1".
