Womans Long Ribbed Cardigan Knitting Pattern

Ribbed Cardigan : This pattern contains directions to knit the cardigan shown. This is a lovely design, all over rib pattern stitch with long sleeves and stand up collar that is built in to the front and back panels. The front closure is 6 buttons. The length is well below hip, which with the ribbing, gives a long and lean slimming effect. This pattern, vintage 1942, is women's size 16, 18 and 20.

Materials:   12 oz. 2-ply wool for size 16, 13 oz. for size 18 or 20;   1 circular knitting needle #4;   1 pair #2 knitting needles;   6 wooden flat-topped buttons, inch in diameter.    Gauge: 10 sts make 1 inch; 9 rows make 1 inch.
