Womans Pineapple Crochet Jacket Pattern Design 538

Pineapple Jacket : This pattern contains directions to crochet a lacy, shell stitched jacket of 3-ply fingering yarn. The yoke and sleeves are trimmed with pineapples and all of the edges are very lightly scalloped. The front is open with a button/loop closure at the neck. The pattern is in misses and women's sizes. Misses sizes are 12 - 14 - 16 - 18 and womens sizes are 38 - 40 - 42 - 44.

This is a mail order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs. This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 538.  It was quite a popular pattern running in the newspaper over a 6 year time period.  

Materials:   3-ply fingering yarns - 12 (13-14-15) 1-oz skeins (or substitute to any yarn that will meet the gauge;   - No 1 steel crochet hook
