Womens Blouse Knitting Pattern

Knitted Blouse: This pattern contains directions for knitting the blouse shown. The original magazine write-up: "A blouse for the woman who required individual consideration, who has felt neglected because good designs in these sizes are hard to find. The shirring and the slenderizing neckline do the trick." The blouse, sized for women sizes 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50 and 52 features a deep V-Neckline with banded edges, short sleeves, 4 button front closure and hip length .... and, shirring, of course. The pattern is vintage early 1950s from Bernat.

Materials:

• Bernat Corette (1 oz. pull skein), 11 (12, 12, 13, 13, 14, 14) sks.
• 1 pr. each No. 1 and No. 2 knitting needles.
• 5 buttons.

GAUGE: 8 sts = 1"; 12 rows = 1".
