Description

Dinner Blouse : This pattern contains directions to knit the blouse shown. Knit with a combination of yarn that includes tinsel, gives this lovely blouse a touch of sparkle, perfect for dinner or evening wear. The blouse, slightly below waist, extended shoulders for a just over the shoulder sleeve look, high round neckline, solid bodice with 6 button back neck closure. This will be one of the pieces that you'll be delighted to say you made yourself. The pattern, vintage 1949, is sized for misses and women 12 to 20. The directions are written for a size 12, with changes for 14, 16, 18 and 20 shown in parentheses.

Materials:  Mary Lamb Velnette, 2-oz. skeins. 3 (4,4,4,5) skeins;   Mary Lamb Tinsel, 3 (3, 3,3,4) skeins;   No: 2 knitting needles;   6 small buttons.
