Classic Cardigan: This pattern contains directions to knit, crochet edges, the cardigan pictured. The vintage 1950 promo on this design - "By popular request -- figure flattering for hard to find sizes 36 to 44". This cardigan is the classing design with long sleeves, ribbing, front button band and patch pockets. The directions are written for size 36, with changes for 38, 40, 42 and 44 shown in parentheses.

• Bear Brand Standard Knitting Worsted 5 (6-6-7-7) 4 oz. skeins;
• Bucilla Plastic Knitting Needles Sizes 4 and 6;
• Bucilla Plastic Crochet Hook, Size 5;
• 6 buttons.

Gauge: 5 sts = 1"; 7 rows = 1".

Measurements of Garment—At bust-line (buttoned) 39 (41-43-45-47)". Width of back at underarm 18 (19-20-21-22)".
