Description

732-18 :  This vintage 1960s pattern, from Columbia Minerva, contains instructions to knit, crochet detail, the jacket pictured above. An attractive pattern with a bold geometric square design, right down to the three quarter sleeves and larger squared collar. It is front buttoned, just as a jacket should be, with oversized buttons. The jacket is waist length and sized 12 to 18. The instructions are written for a size 12, with changes for 14, 16 and 18 shown in parentheses. 

MATERIALS REQUIRED. 

  • - Columbia-Minerva Nylon and Wool Calibrette (2 oz skein)-Main Color (MC) - 8(9-10-11) skeins and Contrasting Color (CC) - 3(3-3-4) skeins OR Columbia-Minerva Calibar (2 oz skein)- Main Color (MC) - 10(11-12-13) skeins and Contrasting Color (CC) - 4(4-4-5) skeins 
  • - Knitting Needles: 1 pair "Boye" Size 10 - 14 inch 
  • - 1 "Boye" Aluminum Crochet Hook "J" (Size 9) 

Gauge: 3 1/2 sts to 1 inch; 5 rows to 1 inch
