Description

Ribbon and Wool Bed Jacket : This pattern contains instructions for knitting the jacket shown. This design, billed in 1948 as a bed jacket, is a combination of German Worsted and Ribbon Yarn. A marvelous design with a solid bodice and a patterned body and long sleeves, it is a loose fitting jacket with small notched collar and 4 button band closure. The knitted design is misses size small (32-34), medium (36-38) and large (40-42).

Materials:   Ruban d'Art Ribbon, 5 (5,6) 100-yd spools. Bernat Super Germantown, 4 (4,5) 2-oz. skeins;   No. 6 and No. 10 ½ knitting needles;   4 Buttons.

GAUGE: 4 sts and 7 rows =1" on No. 10 ½ needles. 5 sts and 10 rows =1 " on No. 6 needles.
