Wool Dress Knitting Pattern

Elegant Daytime Dress : This pattern contains directions for knitting, crocheted edges, the dress shown. This is a vintage 1960 pattern from Unger. An interesting design that looks quite comfortable with elbow length sleeves a front neckline slit, belted waist, below bust patch pockets and buttoned detail. The dress is lined. The pattern is misses size 12, 14 and 16. The pattern calls for Crosetta; which is discontinued --- this yarn, however, is 100% wool and was sold in 40 gr balls.

Materials:

• Unger's CROSETTA 17 (19-21) 40 gr balls
• Hero Size 4 knitting needles, OR THE SIZE YOU REQUIRE TO OBTAIN STITCH GAUGE GIVEN BELOW;
• Steel Crochet Hook Size 1;
• 6 Buttons and Rings;
• 1/4 yard matching color material for lining;
• Millinery Elastic.

GAUGE:6 sts = 1";7 rows = 1" (blocked)
